Some big news out of the UN General Assembly, June 3rd has been declared World Bicycle Day. The resolution was introduced as already delivering on the Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs, that the UN established in 2015 and was adopted without a vote. It is our hope that come June 3rd Jamaica can celebrate this day and start seeing the results that come from adopting bicycles as a means of sustainable transportation to reduce pollution and poverty and as an equaliser among people.
